My EJ fave of all time is from Honky Chateau.

It is named Mona Lisas and Mad Hatters…

“While mona lisas and mad hatters
Sons of bankers, sons of lawyers
Turn around and say good morning to the night
For unless they see the sky
But they can't and that is why
They know not if it's dark outside or light.”

that's a good one. yup, i was thinking of Elton when I saw the Q and R, natural since Goodbye Yellow Brick Road was one of the few albums my sisters and I had growing up, so I must have heard in many, many times… what a guy

I like. I really like. He's one of my favourites… triggered by 'Goodbye Yellow Brick Road' Nic!

Somebody borrowed my Greatest Hits album to burn it and ostensibly escaped with it. So I'm always trying to find downloadable replacements from online now. Not always so easy!

Blessings to you all. Sherri

Excellent, my 3 wise ladies!  We are building a consensus.

You are making me think of The Wizard of Oz with that album title, an obvious choice.  So I propose a follow-up Q&R…

Which of the 3 companions (Scarecrow, Tin Man, or Lion) do you feel most represents your greatest weakness?  For me, I've always feared being called stupid, so I would go with the Scarecrow.

Just love the philosopher called Paul :D

Okkkkk If I have to choose one of three it would be the Tin Man, for the brain… in the context of wanting to 'get' a bunch of things that didn't compute. I think the brain power I sought is in a different place altogether tho… it's in my heart.

I would say the Lion, as I feel at times that I have lacked the courage to do what I yearn and know has been given me to do.

Welcome, Terrill!  Hoping your book sells by the dozens or the millions (whichever one you are setup to receive!).  I will be over later tonight to order a copy.

Sherri and Nicole, love your responses.  I am now the Wizard!  And you know the answer I am going to share with you.  You had it all along!

Susie come lateley… late again.
I am also the Lion… believe it or not.  Lacking the courage and the self confidence to just leap in and do it.  I know that this doesn't sound like me, but sometimes I worry too much about what others think…

I'd say your timing is simply impeccable, #1!

There's an old piece of wisdom I bequeath you.  It is a saying that goes…

What other people think of me is none of my business.

If you say it in front of a mirror everyday for one month, it will take root in your life.  If you miss a day, you get to start over, joyfully.

Sounds like some wise advice, Heemes!
I'm going to try it, but I know that the nosy side of me is going to want to know what other people think, but I guess is really isn't any of my business, unless they want it to be!

Hopefully I don't miss any days!
LOL!

Terrill I love what I see of your book! I wish you great success as well. I am sure that your approach is gentle yet effective. As soon as I get my credit card back - yeh I gave it up for a while to reduce the temptation - I will make a donation.

I hope that Paul will buy and study a copy in loving depth. We women leaders have a lot to share with our men!

[Look our for a friend request shortly!]

God bless you. Sherri

I love, adore, worship Elton John.  Best concert ever:  standing on the lawn at an ampitheater in the rain, watching him sing “Don't Let the Sun Go Down on Me.”  Heaven.
